Ghulam Hassan Khamisani Law Scholarship
In recognition of Adi Nelofar Khamsani’s father’s unwavering dedication to the legal profession, She and EDC propose the establishment of the “Ghulam Hassan Khamisani Law Scholarship” under the auspices of SANA. This scholarship would aim to provide financial assistance to deserving Sindhi law students who demonstrate exemplary academic achievements, leadership potential, and a commitment to using their legal education to improve society.
The objectives of the scholarship program would be as follows:
- Encourage and support talented Sindhi law students committed to upholding the principles of justice, fairness, and equality; and pursue a career as a lawyer.
- Alleviate the financial burden faced by deserving students pursuing a legal education.
Promote interest in legal education and profession by ensuring access to quality education for Sindhi students from underrepresented backgrounds.
- Foster a sense of community and social responsibility among scholarship recipients, encouraging them to give back to society through their legal careers.
